First aid robot. Experiment in concept design.

Here is a mythical, speaking tree. It came out as an inspiration of the moment. It has been made without any preliminary sketch (the same as the shipwreck below).

This is 'navaghiomegha' meaning 'bigwreckage' in Greek (I live in Greece). As to the 'why' of this title, it is a matter of a whole life perception way. I will share my thoughts someday about it too. Now, this image came out freely in a leisure moment, thinking about the blog. It has a quality of things coming, sponatainously, of themselves, say by grace, so I like it.

I am uploading as a first one an illustration proposal made for a children's prayer book. It has been not accepted because of its looking too cartoonish, as the authors of the book said. I, personally, do not find anything contradictory in cartoon style as to its use in a children's prayer book. Furthermore, I believe that if the illustration has been made in the proper mood it could be inspiring even in the case of such a delicate issue as is prayer.

Well, my name is Dimitri Lalushi, I am an illustrator and this is a gallery blog built for showing my illustration works (they have to do with areas including general illustration, cartoons, concept design, product design etc). I preffered creating a blog, instead of creating a site, for reasons of having comments and a dialogue regarding those works too. So welcome all. Most of the works shown here are not used commercially. Some of them were made without any commercial aim, while some others are not used ones because of various reasons (wherever is so I am putting an explanatory note of the reason they remained not used).
